Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum

The Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC) teaches children and young people (age 3 to year 12) to recognise abuse, tell a trusted adult, understand what is appropriate and inappropriate touching and ways to keep themselves safe.

Staff that deliver the KS:CPC must be trained.

From 2020, full day training will be managed by the department. Dates and information can be found here.  Please email training requests for 2020 to education.cpc@sa.gov.au until a new online booking system is communicated. Information and costs will be provided.

This portal provides:

  • KS:CPC Update course – Refresher training for educators that have completed the full day face-to-face training.
Once logged in, click on the ‘My Training’  tab to commence the course.

To re-do course, click on 'Reset course', complete training and receive new certificate.

  • KS:CPC Resources – Year level documents, support materials and resources.
Once logged in, click on the ‘Resources’ tab.
