Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum

The Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC) teaches children and young people (age 3 to year 12) to recognise abuse, tell a trusted adult, understand what is appropriate and inappropriate touching and ways to keep themselves safe.

Staff that deliver the KS:CPC must be trained. 

From 2020, full day training will be managed by the department. Dates and information can be found here.  Please email training requests for 2020 to until a new online booking system is communicated. Information and costs will be provided.

This portal provides:

  • KS:CPC Update course – Refresher training for educators that have completed the full day face-to-face training.
    Once logged in, click on the ‘My Training’  tab to commence the course.

      To re-do course, click on 'Reset course', complete training and receive new certificate.  

  • KS:CPC Resources – Year level documents, support materials and resources.
    Once logged in, click on the ‘Resources’ tab.


This is a restricted site available only to staff who have completed or are enrolled in KS:CPC training and are currently employed at one of the following organisations: 

  • South Australia: Department for Education, CESA, AISSA, Goodstart ELC, CCCSA, Green Leaves ELC, Wendy's ELC, University pre-service teachers, FLO case managers, Youth+ Central West Flexi Schools Network
  • Australia: CEWA, AISWA, Adventist Schools Victoria, St Patrick's Ballarat, Northern Territory Department of Education
  • International: Australian IS Indonesia, Beijing City IS China, American IS Bucharest, Pechersk SI Ukraine, Quality Schools International, Canadian International School Singapore, Chatsworth International School Singapore, I-Shou International School, United World College South East Asia.
